Senior Travel & Social Clubs

A guided Chicago day your group will talk about for months.

We host senior travel groups, park districts, social clubs, and church groups on relaxed, 3-hour guided tours of historic Chicago pizzerias. Seated stops, reserved food, and a guide who rides right along with your group. Nothing for your group to manage on the day of.

Planning a group outing shouldn't be exhausting for the person running it.

Your group doesn't want to:

  • Wrestle a 40-person restaurant reservation where everyone orders separately.
  • Get stuck on a walking tour the group physically can't keep up with.
  • Worry that someone will get separated or left behind.
  • Pick another destination they've already done a dozen times.

A classic Chicago day, paced for your group.

We handle the food, the seating, and the stories. Your group stays together the entire time, with a seat at every stop and a restroom always nearby.

Our guide meets your group downtown.

Your guide greets everyone and gets the day started, right where it's easy for your group to arrive.

02

Three iconic pizzerias.

Reserved seating at every stop, food already on the table, the owner's story while you eat.

Got plans for the rest of the day?

Let us know if your group has all-day plans and we'll design the tour so you can head straight to your next activity.

Built for groups that want to enjoy the day, not run it.

We've hosted senior travel groups from across the country: AARP chapters, church social clubs, lifelong-learning travel groups, alumni associations, and 55+ community trips. The day moves at a comfortable pace, with seating at every stop, restrooms always nearby, and a guide who keeps the group together start to finish.

  • Seated at every stop. No long lines or stand-up bars.
  • Bringing your own bus? Your guide hops aboard and leads the tour from there, sometimes called step-on guide service. Need one arranged? We can quote that too.
  • Restrooms at all the restaurants.
  • Dietary restrictions and allergies handled in advance.
  • One flat price, one invoice. Easy for treasurers and group leaders.

Jonathan Porter, Founder of Chicago Pizza Tours

The best Chicago day is the one you don't have to plan.

Some of our most loyal groups are the ones who book us year after year. Travel club organizers, church group leaders, and 55+ community activity directors tell us the same thing: this is the rare day where everyone in the group has a good time, no one gets left behind, and the person who planned it actually gets to enjoy it too.

That's how I want every group to leave: talking about which pizzeria was their favorite, not which logistics went wrong.
