The Experience
Every October, we team up with American Ghost Walks and its founder Mike Huberty to run the Chicago Pizza & Ghost Tour. It's exactly what it sounds like: authentic Chicago pizza at the stops you'd actually want to eat at, plus a veteran ghost-tour guide walking you through the sites, stories, and spirits most Chicagoans have never heard.
The tour has been running for three years now, with coverage on WGN and steady sell-outs every Halloween season. It's our most-asked-about seasonal offering and is back again this fall.
This year the whole night stays in Wicker Park and Bucktown, starting at the Six Corners where Milwaukee, North and Damen meet. If you take the Blue Line, get off at Damen and you're already there.

It runs five Thursday evenings this October: the 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th, each starting at 6:00 PM. Tickets are $98 per person with tax and fees included, and they are sold by American Ghost Walks, who run the tour with us. Check dates and book.
More fun than frightening. The ghost storytelling is led by American Ghost Walks guides who have been doing this for years. It's entertaining, well-researched, and a little eerie, but nothing jump-scare heavy. Good for groups of all ages.
Yes. Pizza tastings at each stop are included in the ticket price. Non-alcoholic drinks are available; additional cocktails and beer can be purchased.
Everything happens in Wicker Park and Bucktown, starting at the Six Corners, the intersection where Milwaukee, North and Damen all come together. The easiest way in is the Blue Line: get off at the Damen stop and you come up right where the tour begins. If you're driving, street parking in Wicker Park on a Thursday evening is tight, so give yourself extra time. Your e-ticket lists the exact meeting spot.
Yes, it's a walking tour, and you'll cover roughly two miles over the three hours, with sit-down time at the pizza stops along the way. Wear comfortable shoes and dress warmly; October nights in Chicago can get chilly.
